- Combine cabbage and carrot in a large bowl.
- Whisk mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, mustard, celery seed, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl.
- Pour dressing over cabbage and toss well.
- Chill at least 30 minutes before serving. Stir again before serving.
Notes
- For barbecue sandwiches, chop the cabbage extra fine.
- Add more vinegar if you like a sharper slaw.
