- Core cabbage and simmer until leaves soften. Remove leaves carefully.
- Mix beef, pork, rice, onion, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Place filling in cabbage leaves, fold sides, and roll.
- Spread tomato sauce in a baking dish. Add rolls and cover with crushed tomatoes.
- Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
Notes
- Leftovers taste even better the next day.
