Local ARTbeat Account and Data Deletion

This page explains how users of Local ARTbeat (com.wordnerd.artbeat) can delete their account and associated data.

Delete Your Account in the App (Recommended)

You can delete your account directly in Local ARTbeat:

1. Open the Local ARTbeat app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Open Privacy.
4. Tap Delete Account.
5. Confirm deletion.

Account deletion is permanent. Once completed, access to your account cannot be restored.

Request Deletion by Email (Alternative Method)

If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request to support@localartbeat.com.

Include the email address used for your Local ARTbeat account.

What Is Deleted

• Your account profile and authentication access for Local ARTbeat.
• Your user-generated content tied to your account (for example, captures, profile data, and settings), subject to technical processing windows.
• Associated app account data used to provide Local ARTbeat services.

Data Retention and Exceptions

Some data may be retained for limited periods when required for:

• Security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.
• Backup and disaster recovery systems (generally removed within 60 days).
• Financial, tax, or regulatory recordkeeping where legally required (up to 7 years).

When retention is required, data is restricted and deleted when the retention obligation ends.

Deletion Timeline

• In-app account deletion requests are processed as soon as technically possible.
• Most user-facing account data is removed within 30 days after confirmation.
• Residual backup data is generally removed within 60 days.
